"Tim and his staff where very professional and respectful to our property. Tim’s staff restained and sealed our front deck and replaced a few deck boards. ( 2 tone ) They restained and resealed our side deck ( 2 tone ). The big and most important to us was the replacement of the rear deck’s steps The rear steps were very steep and were hard for us to go up and down I had a design in my head for the steps I wanted I wanted the new step to include a mid way landing Also to terminate on a concrete slab. Tim was able to take my ideas and put together a drawing and build exactly what I wanted. I then had them restain and reseal the complete deck ( 2 tone ) His staff showed up as promised. Also when the project was completed all work areas where cleaned up and debris was removed. I will be using Tim and his staff again in the near future. Jim."

"I really couldnâ t afford a total bathroom remodel to include a new bathtub/shower combo and tile replacement. I hated the color of my original tub and tile because it was outdated and did not match anything. With my low budget, their prices were so affordable, that I was able to replace everything accept the tub. They came up with an idea that made it look like I have a brand new bathtub/shower. I couldnâ t be more happy! My bathroom has been totally upgraded and looks beautiful. They were friendly, punctual, trustworthy, and worked diligently. The job was done much faster than I anticipated. I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you for making my dream come true!"

"Franco carpet did an excellent job of re-stretching carpet in a number of areas in my house. The owner, Evelio, was professional, explained what had to be done which was quite refreshing. This carpet was less than 2 years old, and I was unsuccessful in getting the carpet company that originally laid the carpet to come back and fix their mess. The job took about 6 hours and for me was reasonably priced."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
